USA Today and Rope of Silicon published the first picture of Russell Crowe as Robin Hood.

I like Crowe, but I don’t know that I would have picked him for this part. He seems to old and weatherbeaten, you know? But at least the acting (in my opinion, I guess) will be good.

Russel Crowe is okay but not as Robin Hood – he would be better as the Sherrif. He is too old and not heroic enough for the dashing handsome (tall please) Robin.

I like Russell. He´s very good and I think Russell as Robin Hood is okay. Now he´s looking like Maximus in the film GLADIATOR and this is realy good. I think Russell is the BEST!!!!!!!!

Will reserve judgement given the Hollywood penchant to tinker with British history. I like Crowe so characterisation should be dramatic at the very least.
