These five last episodes reveal many secrets and held some surprises, so we really don’t want to spoil the fun for those who still didn’t saw the series. Remember to add a spoiler note to your comment in case you want to discuss some of the tasty parts.

Richard finds himself in a dreary situation and it seems nobody, even not Ada, will be able to help him… Unexpectedly, Woodcourt returns to Esther’s despair… What will she do now? Keep her promise to Jarndyce or be honest with the doctor?

Another unexpected turn of events in this episode. Do you have any ideas who might that be? Remember, if you want to comment, add a spoiler warning to your post.

Richard continues with his obsession over the Jarndyce v Jarndyce case until the point he fells badly ill. And the young couple has some news too…

When Lady Deadlock thinks her secret is well kept again, another person threats her to reveal her past… Do you think she should finally give up and tell the truth to her husband? The end is near and we can already guess the fate of some characters…

After so many trials, life returned to Bleak House. Were you satisfied with this end? Was it enough for you?
Something that I couldn’t understand was Lady Deadlock’s atittude. Her husband was very severe and didn’t accept any weakness but somehow, it’s clear he really loves, so why didn’t she say anything?! Why not take the risk?!
Richard continued to annoy me greatly… Sigh! His end is predictable and so is the Jarndyce vs Jarndyce case disclosure.

Now, something that I wasn’t expecting was Talkinghorn’s death and while I could think about several person who might want to kill him ( I included!
), I didn’t bet on the read murderer.
About the end, I’m not entirely happy. I enjoyed seeing everyone at Esther’s and Woodcourt’s wedding, Ada Laughing, Jarndyce smilling, everybody celebrating, the presence of Mr. Skimpole, who escape unhurt of all this story kind of spoiled the party for me.
I just finished it! Lady Deadlock is such a tragic character, she was unhappy all her life, maybe that’s why she didn’t realise the love her husband had for her was bigger than she thought and bigger than social conventions.
What a pity that she and Esther couldn’t really get to know each other.

I agree that the Jarndyce case had to end badly. In fact I was very surprised to hear the Ada and Richard had won because I was thinking it would go badly for them. Of course it wasn’t how I was thinking but it was bad.
I’m glad Mr Jarndyce came to his senses regarding Esther. You are right, they were totally wrong for each other. I also liked the final scene minus Mr Skimpole but it’s getting to be a bit predictable these country weddings. Didn’t Mansfield Park end in just the same way?? (I could be wrong but I’m almost sure it did)
